Job Description
Edgewood Made designs, engineers, fabricates, and installs one of a kind furniture and millwork for world renowned architects and interior designers. We are driven by a love for design, appreciation for materials, and a desire to achieve a high level of craftsmanship.
We are seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator who has an interest in growing within their role to become a Designer/Engineer. Candidates should have a background in making and an inquisitive nature which promotes learning through doing.
Minimum Requirements
Basic understanding of operating and programming a CNC
Proficient understanding of wood properties and solid wood / plywood construction
Ability to work independently within a group to achieve a goal
Ability to understand and uphold our high standards of quality
Not necessary but helpful experience (willing to train)
CNC operation
CAM
CAD

Responsibilities:
Operate both 3 and 5axis CNC machines from programs created by you or others
Program both 3 and5 axis CNC machines using Alphacam / Cabinet Vision
Assist in Maintenance of both 3 and 5 axis CNC machines
Our work is custom in nature and highly evolving. As part of a team, you will work on a diverse set of challenging projects. Applicants should have experience and be able to thrive both in a collaborative setting and on solo tasks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
